Working as a Tech Lead at Tilde. Spending a lot of my thinking time on how humans and AI agents actually collaborate without creating a mess.
At home I run a Kubernetes cluster built from Raspberry Pis, a mini PC, and a NAS. It self-hosts my media stack, home automation, monitoring, and a growing AI agent ecosystem. I formally adopted what I call an "LLM-First Operations Model," where an AI agent (Hermes) handles most of the day-to-day cluster operations while I set direction. Sounds like a gimmick, but it genuinely works for a one-person homelab.
Star Citizen is the game I keep coming back to. I build open-source tools for it: a pipeline that enriches the game's UI text with actual item stats, a mining scanner that uses a local vision model to read deposit codes off the HUD, and an overlay system that automates repetitive inputs. All running locally on my GPU, no cloud.
I own a Quest 3 and honestly spend more time tinkering with it than actually in VR. Setting up eye and face tracking through Project Babble, kit-bashing avatars, tweaking the streaming setup. I get into VRChat occasionally, and a Beat Saber session is always fun when it happens. I 3D print mostly functional parts on a Bambu Lab printer with some light OnShape CAD work. I keep a large Obsidian knowledge base that I treat as source code for ideas.
